Many people, newbies as well as established successful internet marketers use WordPress blogs to spread their message.

WordPress because of its ease of use and beyond belief flexibility is the ideal platform for affiliate marketers. Most marketing experts recommend beginning your marketing journey as an affiliate.

Given the above it makes sense to automate as much of the IM sales process as possible. Anything you can put on auto-pilot will increase your productivity and consequently your potential income.

As you probably know there are hundreds–if not thousands–of Plugins available to modify and automate many of the tasks connected with blogging. Some help with SEO, others with placing images on your blog and still others help you fight spam. These among others are of prime importance to all bloggers. Some plugins are essential to affiliate marketing. Quick aside: did you know some people call affiliate marketing, “bum marketing”? No it’s not derogatory, but more about that some other time.

A few days ago I bought a new WP Plugin called Easy WP Affiliate. I finally took the very few minutes required to install and test it.

I’m impressed!

First, from download to hitchless installation took but a very few minutes. Since I’m less than super technical that’s a wonderful thing.

This handy inexpensive (at this point–although the price may go up with the next version) plugin will turn your keywords into hyperlinks with your affiliate referral id included. People are used to seeing hyperlinks in your posts and many will click on them.

Here’s how Easy WP Affiliate works:

After installing EWPA go to the “Write” section of your blog; you’ll notice a new addition on the right side of the menu bar titled, “Easy WP Affiliate”, ignore it for now.

Write your post and save it. Decide which are the main keywords in the article. Click on the “EWPA” link and a new menu will open. Click “Add” and a window with three text entry boxes will open. Type a keyword into the first box. In the second box enter the number of times you wish it show in the post. In the third box enter your affiliate link. Hit the submit button.

Pretty easy, huh?

One thing I noticed: If you use keywords you previously manually hyper linked in an article you’ll have to manually unlink the originals for the tool to correctly display the link. It looks rather ugly if you don’t.

All in all EWPA is a very useful and time maximizing tool.

I Highly recommend EWPA!

PS. have you clicked one of the links yet?

How do you thank…

IMRPT v1.1 is now live!

Everything I wrote below–has it been almost a month?–regarding IM Research Power Tool v1.0 applies just as much, if not more so, today as it did then.

Willie Crawford, Kevin Riley, DrMani, Ken Leatherman, Chris Sutton, Patrick Pretty, Michael Oksa and Bev & Rob Clement, John Rogers, Mary Murtha, Steve Wagenheim, Charles H. Smith, Kevin Rogers and a host of others…

What do all these folks have in common? They’re all marketers–successful ones. Some write, others code and still others are generalists.

If there is one thing they have in common it’s caring. They care about their customers and their friends.

One other, rather important, point of commonality: They are all members of The Warrior Forum. Arguably the absolute best interactive community for internet marketers.

Why am I saying nice thing about these folks – aside from the fact they’re deserving?

Saturday evening my JV partner, Tom Launder, and I launched a new product, IM Research Power Tool. We’ve been working on it for quite a while and it was time to realize the fruits of our labor. We offered it for sale through a WSO on Warrior Forum. Simultaneously I sent messages to some of my friends on Skype. They loved the product! (In all fairness some had received pre-launch copies for review and testimonial purposes)

The important thing here is, even the folks without advance copies thought it was great! For that I have to thank Tom. He programmed it to be lean, mean and bug free! (He had the hard job–all I have to do is sell it. Easy to do with a great product.)

Before we knew it Willie “tweeted” about it and DrMani re-tweeted it. Kevin Riley and Ken Leatherman each sent a special mailing to their lists. Others told their friends and posted – some more than once – complimentary comments in the WSO thread.

Sales hit and surpassed our initial target. Then they went through our “best case scenario pie-in-the sky” number.

Needless to say we’re ecstatic!

We’re also grateful, humbled and surely blessed to have friends such as these.

Thank you all!
