Welcome to the Blog

Usually when starting a new project I find a day or date that has some meaning. At least to me. Today is an exception. I can’t think of a single relevant or important thing, at least as far as my life and experience are concerned, about today’s date.
That’s not to say today isn’t a good day. I have much to be thankful for. And am.
If this initial post proves anything, it’s that you can write even when there’s nothing to say. Let’s hope it isn’t typical.
Enjoy the rest of whatever day you’re on when reading this. I’ll return with more of, hopefully not, the same.

Well, the Seinfeld show notoriously had no plot, and ran for many years. While having something to say can be commended, NBC has shown that this sort of thing can be acceptable in society. Please don’t follow their example.
Can’t wait to see what you write about when you actually have something to say…but then, as family, I tend to be biased.
Cheers,
Your kid
Hey Elmer,
If you are looking for a date and an event to write about today is a great day.
November 11th is veterans day here in the U.S.
I salute all active duty personnel, reserves, and all Vetrans who have served our great country.

Ken,
I echo your comments.
My dad and my father-in-law served in WWII, I was, briefly, in the USAF and my youngest son was in the U.S. Army for seven years. He went into Iraq, attached to the Third Inf. Div., on the first night. Both of my younger brothers served in the USMC.
We respect and honor all veterans. Today and every day.
Thank you for your comments,
Elmer
